Our aerialists will work with you to figure out the best performance formant for your event. The standard options are:

• A 4-5 min, choreographed act using either music that they will supply, or any music of your choice.

• 10-15 min sets of ambient or atmospheric performance

It is up to the client to decide how you would like to customize these options, as far as number of sets, style, or even costume theme and fabric colors. 

 

AERIAL HOOP / LYRA: 

The aerial hoop (also known as a lyra, aerial ring or cerceau) is a circular steel apparatus (resembling a hula hoop) that is suspended from the ceiling, on which our aerialists perform aerial acrobatics.  It can be used static, spinning, or swinging. Firefly offers both solo and duo aerial hoop acts!

 

AERIAL SILKS :

Silks, also known as "Tissues" or "Fabrics," is an apparatus consisting of a long piece of cloth with the center of the cloth suspended from above. The aerialists use the fabric to wrap, suspend, drop, swing, and spiral their bodies into and out of various positions.

 

AERIAL SLING:

Aerial sling, also known as "Aerial Hammock," is very similiar to aerial silks as it uses the same fabric. Instead of rigging from the center of the cloth the fabric is rigged from the ends to make a loop or hammock. This apparatus is like combining aerial hoop with aerial silks.
